In what will be a bit of a shock to my system, I am going from a two car lifestyle to a single vehicle. I am trading in my beloved Subaru BRZ and selling my lifted POS Suzuki XL_7 and joining this band of Renegades. The Suzuki has reach the end of it's affordable service and the 2700# RWD BRZ is not Illinois friendly in November-February.

Life changes have forced a downsize of garage space and finances, so a single car seemed the best option. I wanted to fall in love with the Subaru Crosstrek but it left me feeling flat and the Outback just wasn't interesting to me. I drove the Renegade Trailhawk for comparison and was impressed with the build quality/feel and the off road capabilities. I do a bit of camping, fishing and hunting and this seems a good fit.

I think I will close the deal tomorrow on a Mojave Sand Renegade Trailhawk.

Thanks for the warm welcome(s). As it turns out the Mojave Sand Trailhawk I had my eye on was a customer special order. I found a Commando Trailhawk locally at a different dealer with a few more options that I pick up today after work. Looking forward to it.

I just traded in my modded Scion FR-S and got a Corolla for myself. Way more practical and roomy for the daily commute. My wife is the Renegade driver. Good luck with the new one. :)
