Cherokee v Renegade v Patriot

I'm a 20 year old college student in the market for a new car and having trouble deciding between the 3. The Cherokee drives the best but I'm worried it looks most like a mom car. The renegade is new and geared for a younger crowd but it resembles a Honda soul to me, and finally the patriot I love the jeep look of it but it has the worst drive. Any opinions or experiences you have that could sway me in one way or the other would be greatly appreciated!

Also, is the latitude worth the extra cash over the sport? Don't really see much difference

Make the 'pros and cons' list.....

Okay, so my 'Motherly' advice would be this: As you are in college, be frugal. Get a car that fits your needs v.s. wants. You will trade it later anyhow ;). If you're in the north country with snow, be sure to get a 4x4 do you 'need' remote start? Probably not...you see where I'm going here.

I hated the Renegade when it came out (I owned a Wrangler). I test drove the Renny and the Compass, did some research for a couple weeks, went back, went to test drive the Patriot, got in then got back out again...the Renny won my heart. I too thought about the 'soul' look and it really doesn't look like one when you sit them side by side. (I'm bias though now lol)....I couldn't be happier and do NOT miss my wrangler and it's 'quirks'.

But don't over extend yourself either. (Gosh I DO sound like a Mom don't I? I have a 25 year old....lol...we've been having a similar conversation for MONTHS now!).

Good luck on your decision...don't be hasty, do your due diligence and work within your budget.

Okay, I'm off my Mom soapbox now....the RENNY ROCKS! :ReneBlueWave:
