Just wondering if there is a difference between the two cold air intakes. On the mopar site the part numbers are identical. latitude is rated for 12 inches of water fording vs 19 for the trailhawk. one would think that if they are identical the ratings would be the same.

I think it is other factors that give them different ratings.
They are different when new.

is that the not the only point of water access, that one needs to worry about. never had a 4x4 before. had it through, my north edition (latitude), 10 or 11 inches of water with no problems, outside of the horn needing to dry out/drain..no water through the doors seals and very little evidence of any muddy water in the engine compartment (which was very surprising).
