Nothing official about 2016/2017s yet.

Thanks, no surprise. Read an article in Automobile on European Renegade,1.6 turbodiesel I think, driven in the Alps, and review of six-speed manual - whole powertrain package in fact - was very positive. Hoping to learn that U.S. 1.4 with same trans. is a sufficient package for Colorado (altitude + steep grades up I70).

I've had my Dart up I-70, it has 1.4T and the DDCT. I had no problems keeping up and passing people on grades.

The Chrysler vehicle locator shos 7 Trail Hawk's in Colorado. One of which I checked out in ANVIL at Fort Collins DCG. They are cleaning it still today and stickers all over it. 1 Renegade of 5 delivered has sold so far from this dealership.

This one has the Side-View Alert option. Safety I Package, Hood Decal, and Remote Start.

I test drove a Colorado Red Trailhawk this afternoon at Colorado Chrysler Jeep in Aurora. Fun! Really liked the road feel, ride position, visibility (**** - those side mirrors are huge!) and technology. The only negative for me was the acceleration onto the freeway. But I could just be spoiled by my Genesis Coupe. I still want to test drive the 1.4L manual when they become available. The sales manager said the wait could be a while - but I had the sense he was saying that hoping I'd give up and just give him my money today. I seriously doubt he knows anything more than us. So I will wait. Anticipation...

I test drove a Trailhawk this evening and feel the same way about the freeway. I felt like it needed more get up and go on the on-ramp. It did okay and I am pretty sure once I get used to it being a automatic and playing with the + - gear settings that it would be suitable. I took it up 70 going up toward Evergreen and had no problems cruising at 65-70. Transmission had 0 problems hunting or downshifting/upshifting out of turn. I'm used to manuals and the Renegade didn't spoil my fun at all. The steering was responsive, going over potholes was fantastic. U-Turns were a breeze. Even going from pavement to dirt and back I could barely feel the difference. All in all I really, really like the car. Oh.. the brakes were great. After getting back into the Fit I could really notice the difference.

My wife like it too. She is 5'0 and the drivers seat raised up enough and forward enough where she felt comfortable driving it. I'm 6'2 and had no problems in the driver seat nor did I feel cramped. Still can't decide between white and anvil.

Purchased from AutoNation. Purchasing experience; typical car dealership process. Offer, counter offer, etc... Agreement. Advice; do your research homework on car and PRICING, shop around dealerships (even on line) so you know best offers on what's available.

I loved the short test drive. I'll be taking this one up to Estes for an overnight trial, my driveway has some nice granite rocks, nothing major but enough to feel jounce. I will give a report on nighttime view, lighting, and how it does in winding canyons and then at 9,000ft.

So what kind of discount did you get, if you don't mind saying?
It sounds like some dealers are not giving anything off MSRP while some are and we all need help in dealing with the dealers.

I got 1% below invoice on my Trailhawk and free rubber car mats when they finally are in stock. That amounts to about 1.5% below invoice.

They have room in these cars and jeep isn't doing a lot of advertising for them... Dealers want these on the roads.

Internet purchase discount and additional discount; due to error on original invite to come test drive in January. I would advise you to first contact dealerships on internet to arrange test drive. Work with the internet representative.

Get on True Car, and submit your info if you want a discount. Three dealerships will end up contacting you, I asked them all to send me the prices they could do (including Taxes and Fees for my zip) and then they kept calling and I would tell them what the lowest offer I had was and they would beat it by 500 each time till they said they couldn't beat it anymore.
Ended up at Prestige Dodge in Longmont to purchase my Trailhawk.
With an additional $1,000 dollar off certificate for a total loss on my truck, I was out the door on the Trailhawk at $28k including taxes and fees. (MSRP $27,140) so around 25,750 was the sale price, cannot remember the exact number.
