So I have to say, i come from a mini countryman cooper s and I admit it the renegade is noiseless compared to that. The comfort is so high and the sense of being the king of the road is very satisfy. Actually I'm a little scared about the fuel Consumption, about 14 km with 1 liter.. Soon photos

so this will get better when you drive him a little bit around ... you can change from km/l to l/100km so you can get a better feeling of this car ... the 4x4 Diesel just wants an early shifting ... 50 km/h with 5th Gear is no problem ... the most power of the Machine is around 1500 rpm ... so 130 km/h with 6th Gear do around 2350 rpm ... and you need 7.0 l/100km when driving on Auto Pilot ... ;)>:D:D

On the Gasoline Renegade you need to try a bit around to see what Gear suits best for low fuel consumption ..

5 l/100km can be with letting the Rascal run on the loose with not touching the Pedal at 80 km/h on overland roads ... but only in straight plane areas ...

Ciao Dave, io ho comprato la 4x4 2.0 limited, ma la consegneranno mercoledì.
Ma nel ciclo urbano milanese penso che consumerò ben più del dichiarato nelle varie recensioni on-line.

I bought the 4x4 limited 2000 cc. But I go to catch the car from the dealer wednesday... I think that if I use the car in Milan I consuption more fuel that 16km /1lt

Don't be so sure.... from what I've heard and read - December issue of QUATTRORUOTE - It seems that you might get that consumption in the city without any trick.

Viceversa, it seems that in the highway it's a little more, at least for the Fiat multijet, which is normally a "gas saver"...

However, there are already some guys that are driving the Renegade, they will say more. :) :)

I am glad to hear the cabin is relatively noise free compared to the countryman. Do you feel the quality of materials is comparable to the countryman? Overall how does quality compare to your countryman? Thanks for sharing your experiences with the new Renegade! Welcome to the forum!
