Since making my two previous posts (directly above) I've taken the trouble to read carefully all the way through this thread (as I should have done to start with!). The write-ups by Sarge and White_THawk are great: very informative, but rather worrying. In the light of what I've learned here I now plan to go for bigger and taller tyres on my first tyre replacement (a fair way to go yet), and meanwhile monitor the lift options.

I have a TH, with the Australia/EU stock tyres (215/60/17, instead of USA's 215/65), so I can get a worthwhile lift simply by using 225/70, and without having to fit wheel spacers.

I'll be interested to hear more about the G-Force 2cm (0.8 inch) option. I notice from photos of the kit that it doesn't have any of Daystar's extra parts: just the strut spacers, which hopefully would sit on top of Jeep's own TH 0.3's. And I suppose there is also the option of using only the G-Force spacers, by removing the Jeep 0.3's. In other words, playing very safe and settling for only 0.5 inch net lift (I can always change my mind later).

I'm also interested in the comments regarding the effects on fuel economy. I find the TH quite good in this respect (and, by the way, I love the 9-speed transmission). My speedo reads 5% over true, so the tyres I'm considering will come close to making it true. also, I have imagined that the higher gearing might actually IMPROVE the economy - at least in high-speed open-road cruising. Perhaps I'm wrong ...

By the way I'm not a real off-road enthusiast, but I'm a caver (=spelunker USA), and I really do need off-road capability. I have already sustained a little damage under the front fender while negotiating a bad rocky track, and I reckon I would have just escaped that if lifted by 1.5 inches.

Summary: any info on the G-Force kit (2cm version only, not the rumoured 2-inch version) would be welcome.

good choice, you know just sometimes---some vehicles are just not meant to be lifted. My opinion, good luck!!!!

Does anyone know if the kit comes with wheel spacers? Or do I need to pick it up seperately
The Daystar 1.5" does NOT come with wheel spacers. It doesn't need them, as the tyres don't move relative to the spring seats. The kit comes with all the extra parts needed, in addition to the strut spacers.

You will only need wheel spacers if you fit MUCH larger tyres that foul the spring seats or the wheel wells. This is independent of whether you install a suspension lift.

By the way I mentioned, in earlier post, 0.3" strut spacers on a stock TH. Actually I now believe it has no such spacers. The TH's extra ground clearance comes from taller tyres and longer/harder springs.

Also, some posters have mentioned a loss of fuel economy after fitting larger tyres. I think this won't happen (much). The apparent loss is due to the resultant higher gearing, which confuses the mpg calculation of the vehicle: on taller tyres it's actually travelled farther than it thinks, so its mpg calculation comes out low.

I'm still deciding whether to go for a lift, or merely fit larger and taller tyres.

I saw a post on the wayalife installation where the tires sit more out, was curious if thats just stock lift. I MAY get bigger tires in the future but just want more lift when I jump a curb or snow or something trying to do construction or a but of offroading in the summer

I have the day star lift on my 2017 Jeep latitude and I love it. I have already went and tested it out a few times with no problems. Now I just need to get tires and wheels. I would post pics but I’m not sure how to do it from my iPad.

Anyone have a quote for how much they paid to have the lift kit installed? I'm fairly handy around the house but don't have a the space/tools for this kind of work.
For my 1.5 daystar with eibach springs the installation was $350 plus $60 for all wheel alignment, total $410. Might need camber bolts for corrections on the alignment specifications.
