When I first became interested in a small SUV I looked at the Trax and Encore but the dealers had no 4X4's available. I checked at the local Jeep dealer and he had a decent selection. But he had installed a $1,600+ Interior and Exterior Protectant package on every vehicle. I'm sorry but I refuse to pay that money for something I neither want or need. I drove 30 miles to a different dealer that had no sticker add-ons and bought my Renegade there. Has anyone else encountered this?

No- I would find another dealer. The right dealer will find you the car you want even if it's not currently on their lot
