I have a 2022 Renegade Latitude. I was not able to disable the seat belt chime from unplugging and plugging in my seat belt like on previous years.

I was able to disable it using AlfaODB.

First connect AlfaODB to your programmer and select to program Instrument Panel
and Marelli/Siemens EP

Then Connect,

Once connected look for Seat belt unfastened Warning cycle. Set this to disable and push start. Once completed the seat belt chime will no longer chime. No need to do a proxy alignment after you set this setting. It was disabled after I did just this programming step.

How long did it take for this procedure to complete? I went through the steps you listed and Alfa said "procedure started". Then it stayed like that. After about 5 minutes I gave up. I also saw a listing for the seat belt warning lamp but haven't checked it out. Do you know if it turns off the lamp or only checks its operation? Thank you.
