With Active Drive I, and II, during 2WD mode, the propshaft (driveshaft) disconnects at both the transmission and at the back axle right? The rear axle will continue to turn due to the rear wheels on the ground but the propshaft stops turning. Right?

Is the rear axle IRS too?

What are the front and rear disconnect components called? And I'm assuming they're electrically operated?

Thanks!

Yes you're understanding correctly. Electronic is correct, Decouplers sounds the most logical but knowing FIAT its got a convoluted branded name like Auto Disengaging Electric Decouplementer ;)

Got to love the really technical names they give these things, easy way to wow people that look no further than just the name.
