It seems like the special order batch that's about to hit dealers might be the first ones with hitches. Is that right?
I saw several on dealer lots when I went for an oil change a while ago.It seems like the special order batch that's about to hit dealers might be the first ones with hitches. Is that right?
Canada sells a diesel engine Renegade. It can tow up to 3500 pounds, requiring breaks on the trailer, requiring a 7 pin connector.Well I am officially confused since Jeep.ca states the tow package includes four and seven pin connectors while Jeep.com states a four pin connector only.
Are the Trailhawks designed with the fuel tank behind the rear bumper? My Latitude has a muffler behind the rear bumper, and the fuel tank is more towards the middle of the vehicle.Got mine a month ago☺ If I don't carry the bike rack, I do replace it with the stepbar not just for looks but also for safety incase of a rear impact that protects the gas tank. There were issues with Jeep Liberty on exploding gas tank on rear collisions, there is a recall that they will install a hitch receiver for free.

Not true sorry as I did a factory order in Canada with our only engine choices being the two petrol engines because if we had the diesel choice I would have selected that. So I am expected no four/seven pin connector on my tow package :crying:Canada sells a diesel engine Renegade. Here in the states you only get to choose from unleaded engines. This means you can only tow up to 2000 pounds, no need for breaks on the trailer, no need for a 7 pin connector, so all you get is a 4 pin connector.
I just bought a TH and it came with a factory installed tow package.
can either one of you post Pics please. Curious to see the difference and hookup.I wanted (and have) a yellow trailhawk with factory hitch. My strategy: go to cars.com. Put in your zip and the renegade you want, select "all miles", do an additional keyword search on "hitch", sort by nearest. OK, I had to drive 630 miles to the nearest dealer, but I got the TH, color and hitch I wanted.
