Does anyone use Halfords service plans for Renegade?

I'm planning to do a service and MOT with Halfords service plans for my Jeep Renegade 2017 model. Does anyone have any experience on this? Would that be okay to do service outside MOPAR / Jeep authorized service centres?

I cant comment on the Renegade aspect of it but, Halfords look after my daughters car mot/services/brake pads for life etc. She is always happy with the service. I had reservations I will admit but so far they are unfounded.

In the US Mopar max care is the best to get. I don't have a clue over the pond.

Hello!

In my view:

If it's out of warranty and just needs an oil/filter change then that's fine.

If it needs anything more, then find a good local Fiat or Alfa Romeo independent specialist for engine/gearbox.

It the 4WD needs attention then it'll be a Fiat or Jeep dealer job.
Welcome too!

...then I'd be the one doing the oil and filter changes. That way I'd know it's a) done; b) done right; and c) done using the correct oil specification and filter.

But for just oil and filter changes, I doubt a maintenance plan would be worth it.

That's what I'm understanding too. These Renegades are so complex and so quirky, that even traditional Jeep dealers (here in the U.S.) are sometimes stumped by them. I'm not sure the diagnostic tools are widely available.
