Dont rely on Jeep website "in transit"

Just a heads up for those wanting to check out the Renegade at a dealer. Ive been monitoring the local dealers via the Jeep website and the site lists a number of Renegades as "in transit" coming to the dealer. Went by the dealer and found out that they got them in last week. The website had listed less in transit but didn't list any as in stock.

But anyway I got to take a test drive and it drove great and had better acceleration than I expected. No Trailhawks yet locally though so still waiting.

Agreed. My local dealer had a bunch of stuff in transit. Their inventory list changed without ever showing in stock. THat may be supply issues, but everything was "in transit" and they were prepping a few in the back lot when I checked it out. The first one on their web page inventory shows in stock about a week later, and it wasn't either of the ones I saw being prepped. So if in doubt, go check in person.
I just got an email up here in Utah from one of our many local Jeep dealers (there's a plus being this close to Moab;))....ANYWAY....he just informed me three more Renegades rolled off the truck this morning. However, neither the Jeep Renegade build website section, nor the dealership website mentioned these three were even coming in. Thus, you just have to be in frequent direct contact with the dealer or do "drive-by looky loos."
Thanks for the heads up! I always end up using websites as sort of a guide but I know a lot of websites do not update their content on a timely fashion.
