We started having intermittent problems with the dash and steering wheel buttons and let guys last night. We replaced the battery this afternoon and everything came back on as normal. Three hours later and the door locks, and steering wheel functions and lights are out again. What is going on????

Yes, disconnect battery and flash headlights a few times while battery is disconnected to discharge completely, I would leave it disconnected for at least another hour or two.
If you can check the strength and charge of your new battery, it may need manual charging, sometimes they come discharged brand new.
Check fuses in the fusebox under the steering column behind OBD port.
Last resort, alternator may be gone causing battery to not charge?
