I need help, does anyone know where does the engine block heater goes in the renegade trailhawk? Thanks in advance.

That is an excellent question. I'd like to know the answer too. Is it possible that a block heater is not possible in a Renegade, hope this is not the case. If a block heater is not possible then what is the alternative? A warm engine just seems to sound quieter and run much smoother at below zero temp.
I guess that depends on if you are asking about the 2.4L gasoline or the 2.0L diesel engine. I don't know where the engine heater element goes in either of those engines, but I do know that a heater element can be installed on the 2.0 diesel. I got one installed on mine when I bought the car.

Defa is at least one vendor making these for renegades. I am getting one fitted for diesel version. As 2.4l trailhawk is not sold here, heater is not listed site but if you know what other cars use same engine you could try searching for that.

Ant installation instructions are availlable too http://www.defa.com

This is the response I got from a MOPAR dealer for the 2.4L Deserthawk:
5033557AB is a replacement block heater for a vehicle that came from the factory with a block heater option I don't know if it can be installed as an add on.
