I know our cars are assembled in Italy. I wonder if the engines and transmission are assembled there as well. It would make sense in terms of just in time delivery but these parts are common to the Cherokee as well. If you know tell us about it.

The 9-speed is assembled in Tipton, Indiana. About 45 minutes north of Indianapolis.

Engines from USA. They will eventually come from Italy, USA and Brazil, but for NAFTA purposes, ours came from America.
