Hello! My name is Erik and I'm a meteorologist from Portland, Oregon. My current car is an '05 Scion tC--which I truly love--but I am looking for a newer vehicle that:
-is affordable
-can negotiate sand or snow and has amenities like power outlets for beach fun
-is practical enough to haul a few things (groceries, musical equipment, beer, etc), but is small enough for easy city parking
-has gas mileage similar to or better than my tC
-has decent enough hp and torque to overtake vehicles on the freeway
-ideally has things like navigation and backup camera
-is reliable and just plain fun to drive/own!
I'm looking at a few options (Renegade, HR-V, CR-V, Wrangler, Subarus), but I come from a Dodge/Chrysler/Jeep family and I'm very curious to see how the Renegade turns out. I've been following this forum for awhile as a guest and figured I should get into the discussion!
