Good day to everyone. Could you recommend me, please, good and experienced service staff( not official representatives) in Constanta, Romania. It seems that rear differential lubricant oil to be checked again. Official services tried to explain that there probably dismantling of RDU required. Honestly I disagree with that at all. Looking for Jeep guys …… Thanking you in advance!

There is fill & drain plug on your rear diff. It is very easy job to do your self. Open the top plug and check the oil. If milky or mileage than remove the bottom plug and drain it out. The oil should be just below the top plug hole when checking. If need to put bottom plug back in after draining put on gear oil put upper plug back in.

Welcome!

Mrsig is correct -- after all, he's a Super Moderator! :)

You don't specify what year and version Renegade you've got, but I suspect the rear differentials are all similar. Here's the procedure in my USB 2020 Service Manual:
Font Art Pattern Wood Writing

Grey Font Wood Rectangle Pattern

Note that rear differential fluid is "not a scheduled maintenance service." That implies that it's supposed to be "lifetime" -- which usually means at least 100,000 miles or 160,000 km.

Why do you say it has "to be checked again"? Do you have a leak?

Odd high-tech way of checking, with a hex wrench. :) In any case, the level is supposed to be 13-15 mm below the edge of the hole.
