Here is the Jeep Renegade tow testing at low altitude. I just grabbed the photos from the link above.

We can’t say for sure, but we’re guessing it’s towing about 2500 pounds with that U-Haul trailer it’s got hooked up in the back. That’s well within the 3,300 pound stated towing capacity for this very off-road worthy crossover vehicle.

Oh really? What indication is given that this is a Diesel Renegade? Because we all know US spec and Petrol Renegades will be limited to 2,000 lbs...

I don't know.. Looks to be about 3270 lbs to me.. but then again.. could be the angle of the sun. :nerd:

wow thats not good on their end, if they're going to state numbers that aren't official the least they can do is state their best guess backed by what ever real info is out there along with what they are familiar with.

going to have to take this one with a grain of salt

TFL is usually pretty good with their reviews. Either they dropped the ball on this one, or they were just to lazy to fully write up how they came to that estimate.
