Bilstein 5100s
Eibach springs
Everything went pretty smooth. I'm most excited about being able to change the oil with out jacking it up! I wasn't expecting 2"s of lift from 1'' struts and 2''springs but o'well. Tires will be here Monday 245/60/18 Falken Wildpeaks. ATP Roof Rack on the way aswell. Just got back from the alignment shop and boy was that fun. It took 3 shops till i found one that could do it. Apparently the rack needs to be fairly new for it to be able to communicate with the computer. Will update once tires are installed.

So just to be clear, you didn't install anything other than the Bilstein 5100s and some coilovers? Also, which coilovers did you go with?

Yep that was all. I used the Eibach lift springs

Yeah. The reason I asked is because I have installed what I believe to be the same eibach springs (but no new Bilstein struts) and I got exactly 0 height out of it.

Literally no idea. It's interesting actually because before they got installed I laid them next to the OEM springs and they were the same length. the eibachs just have more coils and are thicker... aka stiffer. But I swear I measured multiple.points in the car before and after, parked in the identical location and .... nada.

I wonder if I should contact Eibach and be like... what's up?

yeah I have to get the Bilsteins but here in Germany there is no TÜV acceptance for them, so I can't 'legally' install them. That's the issue... effectively, Germany is a pain in the ass. :-(

Well that sucks. Maybe try the spacers

Gained another couple inches of lift just from tires! It finally feels like a Jeep and rides so much better than the stock 225/55/18 Goodyears. I will definitely be doing the pinch seam mod. Slight rubbing at full lock. Also put on some 1.5'' wheel spacers

I have those same tires in the factory 17" TH size. And I love them. With 4wd, this thing is a real monster in the snow. Lots of fun.

May I ask what the rubbing is?
