I was wondering if anyone else had to give there doors a little extra tug to get them open Today(-6C).

The doors seems like they had gotten patial frozen between the frame and the weather stripping..

Considering the comments from some members about water being caught between the door and the sill, I can definitely see this as a possibility in winter.

Yeah when I left the house this morning it was -8, even with the remote start running for 10mins I had to use that extra tug.

I had frost on the Jeep but the door opened right up. Last year I ripped the door handle off of my chevy tracker after leaving it parked for 5 days while I was in texas. Same style of door handle as the Reney. I ended up on my ass too. Sad day that was.

First really cold spell (about zero deg F) with my 2018 Rene Latitude. Started right up, I'm glad to say. Yes, water froze along the weather stripping and I had to pull to break the thin ice gathered there. Nothing new.

Last year I ripped the door handle off ... I ended up on my ass too. Sad day that was.

It was about 5º here this morning (felt like -7º), and I had to pull a bit harder than usual to open up the door. I didn't think to use the remote start, so it was totally cold when I started it up. It was ROARING as I drove away, it sounded like a semi with the mechanical fan stuck on. The MultiAir system is a bit noisy when it's cold...

Wife had to go in through the passenger side yesterday. Jeep sat out with snow on it and temp around 10F.

Couldn't get my 1.4L to start yesterday in Chicago, was about -20F when I tried. Wasn't too surprised. Went back inside and poured myself another cup of coffee.

Started up this morning (8 degrees F) just fine.

It was -35 last week here in Toronto. Never had any issues with the doors or anything else due to the temps.
