They have an internal sensor that should tell you when depending on conditions and how you drive - I was starting to get worried but just got my prompt at 6900 miles.
First oil change indicator mileage.
I know myself as well as others start getting a bit paranoid waiting for the vehicle to indicate the first oil change is needed.
Just wondering what mileage you got yours at. Mine finally went off at 6305.
