Hi,

Just learned from Jeep Canada a disapointing news actually, the Renegade will not be part of Montreal Auto Show starting this friday Jan 16... It will be however revealed in Toronto Auto Show (Feb)

I was just exited to go to the Montreal Auto Show to have a close look, sit in it and discuss it with my wife...

We will do that in the Subarus... Toooo bad for Jeep :p

I think I'll still go to the show anyway. Actively looking at 2015 Juke to replace my 97 Civic winter car. Test drove the Juke last week at -34c on the 4 season OEM tires, I was amazed (VERY) by the AWD & the AWD torque vectoring system, under acceleration, braking hard etc....Too bad Renegade isn't out yet, had i seen her in person, I could have "perhaps" been more hesitant..

It is not at the Toronto show because it is at the Detroit, Michigan (USA) show. Open to Public Jan.17th - 24th 2015.

I went to the Mtl autoshow. Saw the 500X, Honda HR-V and Mazda CX-3, (though I just purchased a 2015 Juke).

The 500X was nice, could not get to see the interior well enough. I have to admit though, the CX-3 was very very nice and the interior as great, by far no.1 for me in styling. I think she'll be super hot, but the AWD system is not one I know of in terms of getting the job done in rough winter conditions. Apparently, it sort of a "on demand" system to save fuel etc... not a fan of those personally.

I was very disappointed that there was no Renegade, but I did get to see the Alfa 4c, cool car :)!

I believe the Renegade in "Auto" terrain mode is exactly that... FWD until it detects slip. It then engages AWD within 5 milliseconds and away you go.

Indeed, at least you get to select a "mode". The CX-3 has no mode, no selections to make, that's what I'm not a fan of. I like to have that kind of control if I purchase a AWD :) , 5 miliseconds notwithstanding :) !
