Anyone else experiencing rear-end collisions despite having the reported front collision avoidance system. My 2015 has a strong idle that unless quite hard on the brake at stoplights. Even a brief lessening of brake results in bumping the car in front (happened twice). Suggestions (besides putting it in park or idle which I am now doing). I suspect the idle is too high, but am more concerned that the radar system is not performing to workmanlike standards. Thanks, love this car in all other respects. Collision avoidance is not functional under 7mph.
I always drop my car into neutral when stopped for more than a few seconds.
It does sound like your idle is a little high though.
