The version sold in Latin America has a locking flap even on the cheapest version. Guess gas siphoning might be a thing in some countries? Don’t recall there’s anything visible when opening the flap. Will check tomorrow. I’m sure it locks as I have it set to only open the driver’s door with a single key press on the remote (the old 4 button remote, no keyless) and always forget to unlock it in the gas station and have to press the switch on the door which unlocks all doors + truck and gas flap.

Awesome waiting for pictures and a part number please... :)
Not sure where the part number might be! (without taking it apart)
Sorry for the delay. Visually checking the lid it doesn’t have any visible catch, so I guess the lock engages in the same pin that the push to release mechanism uses.

Glad I was able to help. It’s true that I only see stock in Brazilian sites. I found links for that part number elsewhere, but without stock.
Not sure why some Renegades come with it in some markets and not in others. As said, not sure all Latin Renegades made in Brazil have the same equipment in all available countries (that would be from Argentina to Mexico), but all the versions sold here in Argentina have this feature, even the cheapest FWD version.
You could check with some of the Brazilian vendors if they ship abroad.

I tried googling it in Italian and Spanish, and some results appeared in Ebay Europe (Spain in these examples), the lock connector plug is clearly visible in the 4th image. Oddly, it seems to have yet a different part number!

In this other listing the plug is visible in the 2nd image.
