I've noticed a few things different than the show vehicles.

1) The button to the left of the electronic parking brake lever is no longer labeled econ. It has an A encircled by a counter clockwise arrow and says off underneath., The on eon the right is turn off traction control. It might still be econ, and the A is for allrad, and that's the button that disconnects the rear wheels 100% of the time.

2) The sport and lattitude still say jeep on the cloth seats, but less. The limited cloth seats don't, and the trailhak cloth seats have topo map outlines.

3) The trailhawk wheels are not liek the show car wheels which looked really easy to mess up if they touched anything. so no little negative space jeep.

4) there's a black and silver 16" wheel for sport and lattitude that I haven't seen before.

5) every paint but white is an upcharge fro the german market.

What a gouge! I think that most people would want a color other than white since white is so hard to keep clean. There is no way that it actually costs Jeep more to offer more than white as a paint color for Germany. They are just trying to make some extra money by any means possible.

Could be gouging, could be that there is an environmental tax in play there since it is paint and that usually means solvents. White is absolute cake to keep clean compared to black or any other dark color, especially if it is metal flake.

OK, I' starting to go through the brochure text with the help of atrophied high school german, google translate, and some image based ocr to get text in chunks with clear context.

I'll be adding info as I decipher it. Goofing off at work because I'm blocking on the fact that nearly everyone is out on vacation or sick. Cheers to the death of productivity.

So the roof options:

MySkyTM is a two-piece modular roof system with two separately removable panels. These are easily unlocked by a handle and stowed in the luggage compartment. The innovative electromechanical parking brake is actuated via a button in the center console. It conveniently, automatically releases when starting with a closed seat belt (Drive Away Release). So the A button where the econ button was in the show vehicles looks like it is for auto start/stop in germany. Since we don't get that here, we might get an econ button or a plastic spacer, who knows.

Lane departure is done via cameras in the mirror.
Blind spot monitoring and rear cross path detection are done via radar on the side of the vehicle, presumably in the mirrors.

PArking assist is done with ultrasonic sensors, so I'm not sure the radar thing is accurate above, but that's what it claims.

collision avoidance is radar and video, so that really chunky rearview mirror mount on the windshield in the show cars i likely where the cameras are supposed to go.

PArking assist works for bot pulling in type parking, and parallel type parking situations, and steers the car. You operate brakes and throttle.

Contrary to the NYAS pdf, the brochure claims that hill descent control only comes on the active drive low system, so trail hawk only. NYAS pdf said hill descent control was on both active drive options. It says the active drive low has a locking rear diff. I'm not sure I have seen that before.

Sport trim audio is 4 speakers, 120 watts standard. Lattitude and up it is 6 speakers, 180 watts standard. Limited and trail hawk can get the beats audio package with 8 speakers plus a sub(really 9 speakers isn't it?), and 560 watts. If it is like other beats stuff, some dude pointed at some stuff in a chinese trade catalog, and provided a logo and EQ profile.

The 5" head unit gets you a second USB port in the center console, it doesn't say you get that with the 6.5. The 6.5 gets you voice commands and 3d nag capability.There is no mention of the connect 3.0 AM/FM in the brochure. The sport gets the 5 inch with no nav.

Looks like they get no tow hooks on the front bumper for trail hawk. I'm guessing they did not pass pedestrian safety standards.

It looks like what they might have meant was on all active drive systems was hill-start assist, not descent control.

Apparently the projector headlamps from geneva are on the option list.

Those panoramic roof's are awesome, some people hate them but you really need to experience a vehicle with one, during the day and at night.
