I have the sky roof for my Jeep renegade. I want to know or see if it is possible to get glass replacement inserts for the microfiber ones that come stock with the car. If anyone knows where to get them please let me know.

Interesting idea. Glass would be a lot heavier. And to get something custom might well be extremely expensive.

On a previous discussion someone brought up the idea of custom panel.
I think solar panels would be useful.

I am not concerned about the price or weight. I would want them there for the cold days so I could still see up when it isn't open. If this becomes an idea or an option please let me know.

Hope this answers your question.

I’ve always wondered the same thing, with me being a MySky owner as well. I bet there is a way to have something custom made. However, as @Nev said, it’s more than likely very costly. But, possible!

Thanks. That is what I am trying to find out. If there is a way to have it custom made. Who would I call. I called jeep. They told me to call my local office and they said they can only order parts that are existing. 🤦‍♀️ so I am wondering where we could get it bc I believe a lot of people would get it.

If I was looking at this, I'd buy two MySky panels from a scrapper and take them to a sunroof specialist and see if they could match the fibreglass panels with custom glass sunroof panels of the same dimensions. Then work out how to mount all the MySky catches etc onto the glass panels.

Yeah. I agree. I was already thinking that but was trying to see if they were available without me having to do that. Thank you for your suggestion and advice!
