Hey all, I was curious as to what trips people have planned. Where do you or have you gone in your Renegade? I am gearing up for a 5 hr drive and 2 hour ferry ride to Nantucket, with the Wife and 2 kids. Hope to ride some dunes and get sandy. Happy travels.

Yes!

I have a trip from San Diego to Zion National Park this Saturday, we will be staying a full week at a Ranch. It is an 8 hour straight drive, but we are staying a night somewhere along the way. I plan on taking some luggage and misc on the top rack and 3 Mountain Bikes on the Hitch (Two 29er's and one 24" youth". I will post a pick of her fully loaded up here this weekend!

Not to dash your hopes, but you are not allowed to drive on the dunes. Nantucket takes their beach erosion seriously. That being said, you will get plenty sandy. Pack a shovel, jack, and a solid board (like a couple feet of 2x8). These are the things that come in handy should you get stuck. Air down to 15lbs all around, put it in 4x4, and go VERY slowly -- the sand there is pretty soft, so anything faster than a crawl tears up the beach and gets you stuck. Enjoy! The surf's great there!

I pick mine up tomorrow night and Saturday my sis-in-law and I are taking my great niece and nephew for a trip up to Port Townsend, WA in search of fresh oysters :D It's not a long road trip but it will be sunny and warm so the front MySky will be open! It might be too much on the kids to take the back one off though.

Hopefully work will go by quick tomorrow!

I live 30 minutes away from Zion. Was there on the 25th. Was just at the Grand Canyon - North Rim this past Saturday.

I drove 3.5 hours to Gatlinburg, TN and enjoyed the Smokey Mountain motor trail and some very fun, winding, and steep mountain back roads. I also ran into a Commando TH downtown and got a wave, probably the first TH I've ran into besides mine.

I really wanted to take the Parson's Branch Road trail, but ran out of time, as coming out at the end of that would've put me on a 5hr return drive.
