Has anyone picked up the scratch guard kit (it's on renegade ready and other mopar sites have the part # as well). Mopar part # 82214350

Curious as I have never done this what it looks like against the paint, is it noticeably raised, duller?

If it's anything like the 3M clear wraps you can get done at any reputable detail shop, then it should look fairly invisible unless you're right up next to it looking at the edge. It's a few mm raised, so you'll notice it along the edges, and it has the texture of something like an invisibleshield on your smartphone screen. It's not dull at all.


Lots of cars have similar strips along the lower corner of the doors, so you could feel that as an example.


Not sure how much the dealers charge for the Mopar kit, but you'll probably save money by getting it done at a detail shop instead.
