Jeeze oh man I want this jeep!

OBX transplant/local here.. I found this forum while browsing Google trying to find anything I could on the ride. Can't wait for the debut! I'm basically looking for an affordable new car that will be great in snow (trips home to PGH) and on the beach so this sounds like a perfect fit.

If anyone else is from here/passes through let's stay in touch... I'll be sure to post any breaking info as well!

I'm hoping to hit up Carova beach with one of these Renegades next year!

Welcome to the forum! This seems to be the place to be for Renegade info.

The last time I visited OBX was about 10 years ago. Didn't a hurricane recently blow through your parts?
Yup. It was a cat 2 that moved really fast so most of the beach was OK. Many tourists hung out through it and have a really bad impression of what a cat 2 can really do... oh well, our place made it OK with only a little water coming up over the dock. NOTHING THE RENEGADE CAN'T HANDLE!

That's what I'm thinking! I heard many people have no problem with an AWD, but I'd like the reassurance of 4x4. I'll have to jump into the drivetrain threads to read about the 2 available... one sounds like an AWD system.

Where are you from in PA?
