Hi Everyone:

Just registered for the site. I am considering getting a Trailhawk. Can anyone tell me if the "standard" audio system comes with a CD player. LOL yes I know CDs are so passe, but I am old (near 53) and have a bunch of CDs I still like.

I am from near Philadelphia PA. If I get the Jeep I will be using it sometimes to tow my small 14 foot boat, which I have been towing with my 1999 Nissan Altima. Boat, trailer, etc runs a little under 1000 pounds, which is what the Altima is rated to tow.

Thanks
Bob

Welcome Bob, I think the CD player is non existent on the Renegade, time to rip your CDs to a USB stick then you can listen to your tunes from the there.

Hey, I too have a lot of CD's and I'm older than you LOL. When I got my 2015 Challenger, no CD player. In fact, few cars offer a CD player any longer.

But, you will find there is a much better way to listen to your music. My car takes SD cards (the postage stamp sized memory cards). I used iTunes to put much of my music on one (500-600 songs) and can play any song I want without switching discs.

If the Renegade accepts an SD card or even a thumb drive you can do the same. Or, pair your phone with the car and play the songs via Bluetooth.
