So happy to have found this forum, there is a LOT of helpful info on here! I know some of the hard core Jeep enthusiasts are not crazy about the new Renegade, but I love it. I co-owned a meaty Wrangler that I lost in a divorce and it moved to CA. I would love to have another Wrangler, but I travel a LOT (road trips), and with my dogs in tow (big dogs, they need room). So between gas mileage, price for the size I'd need, not liking the newer Cherokee having squinty headlights, and my current small SUV being 10 years old... I'm going with the Renegade for my new daily driver when it comes out. I love the front, the MySky option, the off road capability, and when I drive 800 miles each way to visit family 4 or 5 times a year, I'm going to love the gas mileage. Can't wait to get an orange one!!

Wow, I could have written this message except I got to keep the Wrangler in the divorce. It's an Orange Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon that is now ten years old; with a toddler the 2 doors are just a pain. I also need better gas mileage and room for my pooches. I have my dealer on speed dial waiting for a chance to drive one. I heard that the orange color might not be available in the US. I hope that is just rumor.

Sorry, I just saw this. I really hope the orange comes to the U.S.! I've also contacted a local dealer and asked him to let me know when they hit the floor here (in St. Louis). Can't wait to get more info... pricing, release dates, etc. I'm getting so excited to get one!
