Witam!

My 2021 Trailhawk (1.3T engine), with 6,500 mi (10,500 km) shows an overall average of 23.1 MPG (10.2 L,100km).

I agree that's not great for such a small engine. But I do a mix of mostly city and some highway driving, and also quite a lot of summer offroad 4x4 driving here in the Rocky Mountains. That really affects the fuel consumption.

And as many here have pointed out, these vehicles have the aerodynamics of a toaster.

Of course, speed limit on the A9 to Nürnberg wasn't 130 km/h.

For some reason, that video just terrifies me. Regarding a Renegade, that is. I happily drove my (U.S.-market) VWs on the German Autobahn for many years, though not quite at 200 km/h...

I had the Renegade up to 160.

OK, that's respectable. About 100 MPH.

But it's not that stable to feel "safe".

I'm not entirely surprised.

Here in the States I've had my Trailhawk up to about 85 MPH on the Interstate, and it felt surprisingly stable at that speed considering the short wheelbase.

Renegade has a definite bounce at speed.

I haven't noticed any -- and that's with a Trailhawk. Maybe it's because of those smooth well-mainained American highways...
