That's super low. Being super pathological in my driving, I can get about 17.6 mpg if I try real hard or I drive aggressively with AWD turned on under stop and go/speed and slow conditions. To get below that, I need to have AWD on, slippery surfaces, the defogger forcing the AC on, and cruddy winter mix gas, AND drive fairly aggressively. Even then, I still get about around 16mpg.
I am going to pay another visit to the dealer. Also i noticed that after driving for few minutes a turbo kind noise like mixing air or similar sounds goes in and out. I wonder if something is failing or is just the firmware update causing it. Never heard before

tracks with throttle like turbo does, or pulsing? If pulsing, take a close listen and see if it comes form the back seat/cargo are. In that case it is the 30mph noise FCA has yet to come up with a fix for. However one of their attempts to program around it does introduce a pulsating version rather than a steady whine/groan.

Its pulsing and yeah, it goes when above 30 mph.
So has nothing to do with the low mpg?

If it is the 30mph noise, no it doesn't have a big, if any, impact on mileage.

Quick test, turn off traction control when the pulsing noise starts, see if it goes away a couple seconds after turning it off. TC, one press. not ESC which is a press and hold.

I turned traction control off and the noise is still there.

I am at the dealer today. Hopefully they will find something.

MPG is still 14ish MPG.

Good news. Today I had transmission and abs firmware updates.

The noise is gone and the average MPG are doing much better. I will run for another week to confirm.

I found out about firmware updates today on my 2015 trailhawk when took it to a dealer to fix the RADIATOR COOLING FAN THAT JUST BROKE OFF IT'S ELECTIC MOTOR and now is just hanging there, then service engine lite cam on, and the tire pressure monitoring system failed. I know I had a recall that needed to be fixed but the service tech informed me that i needed updates on transmission also. I didn't get the details on the update because of a slight language barrier (i moved to Puerto Rico and don't speak spanish) but the tech spoke decent english. You wouldn't think but the dealer service department I went here in PR runs a hell of a lot smoother and is more organized then any service department I used in Louisiana.
