I had no idea there was a vehicle such as the Jeep Renegade. Was having my Chrysler 200 convertible serviced and while waiting visited the new car showroom. Sitting on the floor was a Commando color Renegade Limiited. I thought it was the ugliest car I had ever seen and with my perverse sense of humor, had to have it. Two days later it replaced my Jaguar XK and when I took delivery, I thought to myself I had gone off my rocker. Fortunately, after 600 plus miles I am in love with this Renegade and happy I made the decision to buy it. The only disappointments are the lack of a "Homelink" garage door opener and a "memory" seat. Otherwise, the car drives and handles completely to my satisfaction.
I bought it and I'm happy here in Palm Springs, CA

lol I almost lost it when I read the first part of your post of it being ugly and yet I have to have it. lol I have a co-worker that feels the same way about wranglers and yet got one. He is now looking into a 2nd vehicle and the Renegade is on the top of his list.
As for the disappointment. I agree. I am so used to the Homelink on my Santa Fe that it would probably be the only thing I'll miss once I get the Renegade. I'm hoping that the mid cycle refresh in 2016/17 includes it like the Cherokee as well as the CommandView glass roof. But I don't know if I can wait that long.
