I'm new here...2015 Renegade Sport... wondering if anyone has ever removed the little bump out things in back hatch...I have lived and travelled in my little Feep for the last 2 years...back seat removed (never to return) and I would like to streamline space by removing the bits that stick out. Suggestions?

Welcome!

Offhand I'd say that cutting off those parts is going to leave huge holes in the panels. And since they're (I assume) polypropylene, there isn't any adhesive that's going to stick to them to patch them. Not even Superglue.

It might be possible to put flat polypropylene patches over the holes and heat/weld the edges, but that wouldn't look very good.

Or, as you've already done, just tape over the holes with heavy-duty black duct tape...

Ty...lol the duct tape was a quick fix (alot of cold air coming in last winter!). I will continue to consider problem although I am not worried about appearance as bed and storage cover those areas...just wanting a bit more space (every square inch counts!)
