So, my guess is that I am looking at sometime in September... which is fine. But just thought I would throw the following out there to all of you fine folks to get your thoughts, insight or best guess on what this all means.

As near as I can tell, and according to my salesperson at the dealership, it arrived in Baltimore on (or before July 27th, the date of his email).

Just received the following from JeepCares

Oh, and for those keeping track, this is for a blue TH with power MySky, tow package and leather seats (everything but upgraded speakers and sound). My order was received by Jeep (despite me placing in May 1) on June 1st.

JEEPCARES WROTE:
"According to our resources the status of your 2015 Jeep Renegade Trailhawk 4x4 has been updated to "Shipment" and your vehicle remains at the U.S. Port of Entry. At the present time, there is no estimated date of arrival at your dealership within our resources to provide as shipment arrangements are currently being completed."

Wow, I thought I was the only one to notice that my order took a month to be picked up. I put my order in at the dealership March 29th 2015. The order was not picked up and placed till May 1st 2015. I ordered the Limited model with the my sky and 6.5 U connect and the towing package and leather seats. Everything but the 9 speakers and polished wheels. As of last Friday I was told it is still in the JB stage which it has been for the last 3 weeks. So when it goes to delivery stage will it take a month to get here? So when the say it takes 4 month from ordering to get it, you better add another month really for the order to go in and be picked up.

Just talked to jeep chat and got this response from them:

Your vehicle has completed the build process and has entered the upfitter stage. This is where your vehicle has any specially ordered items applied.

Not sure if this is JB status or not. I have been in JB status since 7/3. Waiting to hear back from JeepCares to see what this status is.

Yep that's JB status. See below.

Scheduled
C – Tentative schedule
D – Firm schedule, serial number is assigned
PR - Pre-Release (scheduled for production)
D1 – Gateline: plant has sequenced the vehicle for production, estimated ship date usually (but not always) assigned

Build (not reported by MOTS)
E – framing
F – paint
G – trim

Built
I – unit is pending final inspection, quality control
J – vehicle has passed final inspection, but has not been released to carrier
JB – shipped to body vendor (typically for decals or stripes)
JS – shipped to storage (to await shipping; also for Quality Control and Vehicle Flash updates etc.)
KZ – released by plant and invoiced

Other
Avi (Automotive Visual Inspection) - Quality Control facility
Constructive Placement - Railcar cannot be placed at the industry (Customer has no track capacity, or not ready to receive rail car)
Detroit Flatrock Auto - Quality Control/storage facility
Gate Exit From Facility - On truck to dealer, delivery to dealer is imminent, usually within 1 day
Released from Industry - Railcar full, set out on spur to be picked up by locomotive
Placed at Industry - Railcar arrival at final rail destination for vehicle unloading
Ramp Compare Inventory - Confirmation/verification that the vehicle is physically at a given location
VASC - Taylor Auto Auction YD - Quality Control/storage facility

The only reason I questioned it is because that is a different status than i had gotten previously.... maybe they just changed how they were saying it. This is what I had normally been seeing "it has been shipped to the body vendor. The vehicle has been built and is pending the installation of additional equipment."

JeepCares has told me the same thing as you but JeepGarage says that it is in England now. I have been in I (final inspection) status since 7/6. I doubt that final inspection is done in the UK. I am not sure why the information is so different between JeepCares and JeepGarage. I've given up trying to make sense of it.

From what I can see, some people get detailed status updates and some get partial updates. I think you and I are in the later group.

I'm not sure exactly which tools JeepGarage uses to track vehicles. I typically give as much detail as I can based on the information available to me, but that info varies between each VIN.
