Hello, I just got my 2018 renegade latitude with only 30k miles! Anyways, I bought a pair of kicker Comp r12” each pushing 500watts rms at 2ohms. I also have a Rockville db14 4000 watts amp (tested at 1000rms at 2ohms). Basically I’m wondering if this setup would strain my alternator/dim my lights assuming I wired the ground and everything else properly. Is anyone straining 1000 watts on the electrical system with no issues? Does anyone know how many amps stock alternator puts out and how many amps the electrical system uses?

140 to 160 amps depending on year and model.

thanks, can any let me know if the stock electrical system puts less than 40amps of strain? Sorry if I sound like a noob never wired audio before and I’m trying to plan out all my steps.
