I have had a Renagade Trailhawk on order since April and dealer hasn't even been given an anticipated delivery date. I am starting to believe this not an owner forum but a Jeep PR site. I also haven't seen any, other than demo model, at any dealer in the Phoenix area.

There are a lot of people that have not heard about there ordered Renegade. It depends on what options you wanted and when Jeep was able to produce a Renegade with those options. The MySky are taking the longest to come in. I'm not sure if there is another option is talking longer than the MySky.

People are reporting that their MySky Renegades are in route, but I don't think anyone have physically received there's yet. The factory tow hitches just released a week or two ago as well.

It's just a very poor launch of a new product. With very few options available at the announced release date.

I went in late April to look any model just to check out the Renegade. The first dealership had none in stock, but said the neighboring lot had just received 18 Renegades. Another neighboring dealership just finished training on the Renegade, and the local dealership was just leaving to go to the training. When I on arrived on the lot with the shipment of Renegades, they were all in white. No other colors available. There were mostly Latitudes and a few Limiteds. No sport. I wasn't expecting to see a Trailhawk at all, but they had one sitting on the street and thought it was owned already. Turns out it came back from a test drive and there was not room on the lot, so it was parked in the street. As I was signing the paperwork, the employees where leaving for the Renegade training. The salesman working with me missed out on the training. I got everything I wanted on my Renegade Trailhawk except for the tow package. It didn't have the safety sensors, MySky, or the best stereo system, but I didn't want all of that anyways.

So the less you want on the Renegade the early you can have one. The more/better options you want, the longer you have to wait.

I ordered the beginning of May, & my TH is on a ship on its way over. Also, I live in the Phoenix area & test drove a Trailhawk before I ordered, so they do have them here....

Richard D,

Welcome to the forum! As an employee of FCA, I can assure you that this is not a Jeep PR site. This is a forum for Jeep Renegade owners, fans, etc. to discuss anything and everything about this vehicle. I am a Social Care Specialist with FCA here to provide customer support and help answer questions when I can. As dontpanic13 mentioned, if you send me your VON or VIN I can check for any delivery status updates.

Richard D was last on here yesterday. Whether or not he visited his thread, I don't know. His one and only post on the forum is this thread's starter post.

Here in the UK the delivery time for the Renegade is given as three months. So as you guys and gals live across the pond, then I would say that a four month wait for delivery would seem to be the norm. Okay, I know the ship will cross the pond in less than a month, but once unloaded, the Renegades have to be transported to various states across the land, which takes time. Obviously the more options ordered will no doubt play a part in the build and then delivery time.

Fiat in the UK have not got the best record and Jeep don't score highly either. When I order mine in December, any issues hopefully, will have been sorted. I cannot wait to order mine. I'm like a kid waiting for xmas.

Per my other post in the orders sub-forum, I ordered my Trailhawk with every option except for the Towing Package on 4/10. It arrived at my dealership here in NY on 6/17 and I'm picking it up today 6/19.

That is a total of 10 weeks. I also assure you I am not an FCA representative or other PR agent. My only affiliation with Jeep is having been a customer - this is my 4th Jeep.

Hi Foobar,

I'm in Willamsburg Brooklyn. Was wondering if you were happy with your experience at Merrick dealership. I test drove TH in Manhattan yesterday but I'm leaning towards a custom order with MySky. Headed to a few dealerships in BK today.

Congrats on purchase and thanks for all your helpful posts on the order process, very informative.

This will be my first Jeep.

I was offered a Cherokee back in the 1980s, but turned it down. Why? Jeeps weren't as common/popular in the UK back then and parts weren't readily available, barring some service items. So if you needed say, a new wheel hub, there was the best part of a week before you received it. The vehicle was parked up, which was no good, until the new part arrived. Also regret turning down a Mustang from either '66 or '67, I can't remember, but that's another story. Sorry for the slight hijack:D

I went with Merrick because Costco assigned them to me as part of he Costco auto buying program. I would have likely gone elsewhere if not for that. I did have a few problems with their finance manager, but in the end, I got what I wanted and they worked with me to match the prices I wanted on financing and warranty.

It wasn't the best customer service I've encountered, but I've certainly seen worse.

If you have a choice in the matter, go with one of the higher volume dealers like Westbury.
