Its Called Renegade, and thats OFFICIAL!
Tall narrow and resembling a cheap knockoff, here is the Jeep Renegade. We knew it was based on the 500L/500X but I didnt expect the proportions to be identical.
AutoNews is saying that the Renegade will be available in AWD only, including a range topping Trail Hawk trim. Gasoline and Diesel power will be available but I reckon thats for European customers only.
As for availability the Renegade will be available in Europe by Summer 2014 while Americans will need to wait until 4Q 2014...
Oddly enough, Jeep is already on record with a statement that there will be an open air version of the Renegade, er, pardon?

From what I've seen so far I think that the Renegade looks good from the back and from the side, but there is something left wanting when you look at the vehicle from the front. The short hood and grille design make the Renegade look snub-nosed to me.
