I have a Jeep Renegade 2016 with 50,000 miles on the clock.
Last week i started to get a few warning lights coming on however now they are going crazy. Stop start not working, Park sensor unavailable, forward collision warning, fuel cut off, and many many more. have spent £600 in the garage on a diagnostics tester and been informed by jeep that they do not know what the issues is. They are asking for £1000 to change the BCM but have stated they do not know if this will fix it. any ideas Thanks all

As other have said: 1st port of call: Check battery, check battery connections, check both ends of earth strap, check fuses are all well seated.

Sadly the Jeep, factory fitted batteries don't appear to be up to the job after a couple of years.

Many of the members appear to have lived a stress free life after upgrading to a larger amperage battery albeit a lot more expensive than a general run around battery.

Try the free option that Nev suggests and failing that I would be investing in a new battery and fitting it myself. All for under £200. (yes, expect to pay around that for a battery).

Just OBTW... Jeep seems to have gone to installing AGM-type batteries as both OEM and replacement equipment, rather than the earlier (2021 and earlier) EFB-type. I don't know whether that would help with the longevity iissues, but certainly seems to help with Auto Stop/Start issues...

Thanks all for the replies, unfortunately not the battery as this has been replaced. Its now back in the Jeep garage being looked at again...…They have agreed to take another look free of charge.

OK. If that was the original battery, it needed to be replaced anyway. It wasn't guaranteed to be the issue, but it was the logical first place to start.

Please let us know!

Finally fixed, earth grounds were the issue
Glad to hear that.

That kind of confirms the susceptibility of the Renegade to bad electrical supply in general. I still think that if the battery is older than about three years, that's the first and easiest place to start, since the battery is getting old in any case.

If not, then checking the grounds would be the next step.

Check out my posts because my 2016 Trailhawk did the same thing. New battery did NOT help. New ignition switch that was bleeding voltage did the trick. So far no problems.

I had the same issue six years ago with my 2015. Two batteries and one month of shop time later, I had to tell them to order the ignition switch. They lookded at me like I was nuts. Ignition switch was replaced and I have been trouble free since 2017.
