Hi all. I purchased a 2019 Jeep Renegade Latitude.. I downloaded the Jeep app and when asked to enter the last 8 digits of the VIN.. I keep getting error saying not valid .. or not found. I tried scanning and can’t get it to scan. I am getting the VIN right from the vehicle. I also tried what’s on manual.. and they all match but can’t get Jeep app to recognize. Has anyone had issues? Any resolutions? Thanks

try entering the complete vin number. check your bill of sale to make sure it is correct, good luck
In the app, it does not give me the option to fill in all digits of the VIN. And I have checked everything from the bill of sale, manual, dashboard, and drivers side and all are same VIN Number. I have looked online doing a basic VIN number search and it comes up as a renegade.
Have you tried entering it without the dash between the numbers I had to do this on Uconnect site to get it to work.

There is no place to even put dashes. There is an option to scan the barcode and it still does not work. The weird thing there is another Jeep app I tried and while entering the vin on that app it works but it says that there is no owner listed for that vin and to call a number.

time to make the call, something wrong with the app?
Do not freely offer up any details to an unknown App company that now asks you to call them. Premium rate telephone scammers springs to mind.

Stick with the app that works as intended and forget the rest, imho.

make the call make sure you have a good title and not a jeep that has been in the water from all these storms
I’m having the same issue, any resolution for you on this?
Same here. It’s frustrating to the least. Not sure how to get it to read it or scan it. Hopefully someone can figure it out soon.
have just found out how to get into the app. It’s not the 1st 8 letters. It’s the last 8 of the vin number. Hope you all get it to work. It’s working for me.
The new app is horrible compared to the Mopar one

I bought a 2019 Jeep Cherokee last Summer, and am running into the exact same issue. I tried to get support from Customer Service, but they told me to use the Mopar App instead, which really made no sense at all. The funny thing is I also have a 2016 Jeep Compass, which had no issue registering in the Jeep App. Would love to hear how other have gotten it to work.
