Hello,

I just recently bought a used Jeep Renegade 2017 and whenever I make a phone call the volume is super low, even when it is up all the way. It only does this when I am making a phone call; when I am listening to the radio and using my Spotify via bluetooth the volume is fine.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

I would suspect this is an issue from the phone's end. Maybe the volume drops automatically on calls? I remember on iPhones in the previous updates that there was a normal volume and separate ringer volume.

While on a call, try raising the in-call volume on your phone, not the car. You have to be talking to someone to raise the volume. Whenever I reboot my phone I have to do this; it returns the phone volume to 50% for some reason. Plus, I have that annoying "hearing protection" setting turned off so I can make it 100% if I choose.

I went from a 2015 Ford Focus to a 2017 Jeep Renegade recently and am now having the issue with low call volume. I never have an issue in my husband’s Mazda or my old Focus. I’ve tried maneuvering the settings but no improvement.
