I can perceive the bugs splatting on the upper windscreen?
Thank you for your inquiry Puddlespasher,

This bug/ wind deflector helps to redirect the air flow over the hood and does make a considerable difference in the amount of bugs hitting the windshield.

At lower speeds the amount of air moving up above the windshield won't be as much so there is still a possibility some will make contact with the windshield, but it will be much less than without the wind deflector.

As always please feel free to reach out to us directly if you need any assistance with installation or ordering.

Thank you again.

As always I get great delight in seeing all your Mods for the Jeep.

How does the deflector attach to the bonnet. I see 4 clips on the upper section, what do they do?

Good eye puddlesplasher.

The four clips fit snugly onto the hood of your Jeep Renegade, and the bug deflector attaches to the clips with screws.

This makes for a secure yet easily removed installation.

Ah! How does this make it "No cutting or drilling"? when afixing the guard?

Once again you guys are demonstrating the most brilliant innovations that are worthy to be attached to any Jeep never mind IMHO, My Jeep.

Thank you for your feedback!

The No cutting or drilling typically refers having to modify your vehicle to fit the product.

The clips do not require any special tools or holes to be drilled in the hood to attach.

Just simply screwing in the provided screws to attach everything together.

Hopefully that helps to answer your question.

As always please don't hesitate to reach out to us if you have any questions about any of the products we provide.

Thank you again.
