So here is a new interesting modified Renegade that has surfaced out of France. Looks like it has a lift and lots of accessories, will they see the light of day to be purchased?

ah... now this is what we wanted to see for some time now
too bad there doesn't see to be more details about it as i'm sure you would have included that with these pictures... unless i'm wrong?
I like it! The roof rack is much better on this one!

No really, here is the dealer website I found but no info on this custom:

And one more alternative site:

dahum that is nice! At least we know it's possible.

That what is possible? All that tells you is you can lift it and have it sit in the parking lot for a picture and presumably at least be pushed into position for a photo op. It tells you nothing about functionally drivable.

True, not to mention what will it do to the warranty, wear on drivetrain components, etc. Time willl tell, it shows be sold used with 500 miles on it, but no mention how many of those miles are lifted.

Exactly. We need to see this thing in action, it needs to get it's tires muddy and sinked into some rough terrain all on video :D
The concept looks pretty cool. Tires and other accessories make it look much more burly.

I think the graphic on the side is pretty ugly though. They shouldn't have put that on there.

I don´t guess this Car is lifted ... it has M-T or A-T tries perhaps 225 70 on 17" Rims i guess ... when i compare it to my 215 60 on 17" the wheels look rough but not that much bigger ... and lifted? No ...

they look for me like one of those ... 245/70 R17 119/116Q ... but with them you can only drive 160 km/h

That a lift kit and what appear to be grippy tires can be installed on the vehicle.

I seriously doubt that Indian Cars would try to push a Jeep that isn't drivable and just pushed into a showroom for some cute pictures as you are suggesting. Their reputation wouldn't be worth piss then. For those curious, they have a store front here

Any Paris folks want to check it out for us?

Well they are a 30"+ tire where the trailhawk tire is just over 28" in theory (we'll see what it actually shows up with). It's also a couple inches wider. That's a huge difference when you are talking clearances.

Really? That's a lot of assumption there. First, I clicked on the link to their home page, I don't speak or read french, but clicking through things I can't find the renegade in question on their page, so even if they do have a good rep, it doesn't appear to be that they are claiming to sell something. I don't see anything that even says it is something they made. I don't find it there at all. Just on the other page that says it is for sale and they are the vendor (assuming I'm guessing correctly). Places with perfectly good reps in the US lifted the cherokee and then said nope, it's not going to be a product. They didn't suddenly go out of business.

That being said, try this link:

That's their inventory. You can see it next to a longitude. It looks like there really isn't much difference in where the tire is int he wheel well, and the hub is just a bit further down vs. the sill molding. I suspect it is just a gussied up TH (TH emblem is on the rear). What they appear to have done is found a nice knobby looking tire and wheel combo that fits, which is in itself cool. I don't see it being evidence of the vehicle being liftable beyond the TH lift.

Did some translating and the description says it's lifted 1.5 inches
Longer springs/shocks? (would be the opposite of the ghetto rice kids with cut springs)

Otherwise where did they get the 1.5 inch lift from, theres no one currently producing those parts as far as i know...

I'm thinking those tires would lift the ground clearance 1 1/2 inches by themselves.
LOOKS AWESOME!!

I REALLY REALLY hope this set up is something that will be doable...

That would be the best option.

Option 2, I have to fly to Paris for work on Friday. I looked it up and it is 25 miles from my hotel. I'm not sure the trains run out that far and a taxi would be about $50. The only chance I would have is Sunday and they may be closed.

I emailed them this morning but no response yet.
