Jeep has introduced a special edition version of both the Renegade and the Cherokee at the Frankfurt Motor Show. Both are titled, Night Eagle.

the Renegade Night Eagle is based on the Renegade Longitude and features satin grey exterior accents as well as 17-inch alloy wheels with a black finish. The model will be available in Alpine White, Carbon Black, Glacier Silver, Solar Yellow and a new matte color called Volcano Sand.
Interior changes are limited but the crossover comes nicely equipped with a leather-wrapped steering, unique upholstery and a UConnect infotainment system with a 5-inch display.

As far as engines go, there are a few options. There is a 1.4-liter MultiAir with 140 PS, a 1.6-liter Multijet with 120 PS and a 2.0-liter Multijet with outputs of 120 PS and 140 PS.

I'm with you. Love the color and the rims, but that dash is boring and a totally unnecessary change.

Exactly.

All they would really do is add different trim and basically just make subtle little changes that matter, not much they can do and not much they should be doing unless we were talking about some super expensive vehicle here.

Matte paint looks great but it requires super high maintenance to keep it looking that way.

You are correct, this is the interior of the Cherokee. I think they got their pics mixed up.
