I am not sure if there is any specific information on this, but I think that one can assume that Jeep is going to make the Renegade a "true Jeep" and give it plenty of off-road capability. I think that brand enthusiasts would be greatly disappointed if it didn't I bet that sales would suffer quite a bit (even though most people will never actually use those capabilities.)

Is there any information on the Jeep Renegade staying true to the brand and having off-road capabilities suitable enough for what it is?
