German magazine Auto Motor & Sport puts the Jeep Renegade up against Dacia Duster, Suzuki SX4 S-Cross and Skoda Yeti:

Mine and Google's somewhat amateurish translation of the conclusion:

Conclusion
1. Skoda Yeti 2.0 TDI Elegance Outdoor
383 points
The Skoda wins, that's no surprise. It is a solid, comfortable and pleasant car that overall again is superior in the competition.

2. Jeep Renegade 2.0 Multijet Limited
371 points
Strong debut of the Jeep Renegade, it convinces with good suspension and good quality and good space. The little Italian-Americans is, just like the Yeti, not very cheap.

3. Suzuki SX4 1.6 DDiS 4x4 S-Cross
346 points
Standard equipment and the fuel consumption are the best sides of the SX4, brakes and suspension are the dissapointment. In addition, the space is rather sparse, but the price is under these circumstances somewhat low.

4. Dacia Duster 1.5 dCi 4x4 prestige,
330 points
The low price is not enough. You really have to want the Duster to buy it, everyone else will be annoyed with a tired engine, cheap appearance, sparse interior and moderate dynamics.

Everyone knows the Yeti is behind the Renegade. Just look in the back window of your new Renegade. :)

As we all know, the Germans always rate their cars highest. As a Skoda is a VW in disguise, it's obvious it would be the winner.
Aren't the Skoda and Dacia only available in Europe and not NA?

Yes, but oddly enough the internet is available both places.

Quite odd...

Any chance or possibility that Dacia might make the leap over the pond?

Nearly zero. They are owned by Renault, and Nissan is keeping Renault afloat with us sales. Bringin in a new brand that competes with existing product would be foolish. It's not like the 500, the alpha, mini, or smart where it's a product outside of the parent company's existing product range. Even then I'd only really call mini successful there.
