So far from what I know the Renegade Trailhawk will feature the exclusive 17-inch off-road aluminum wheels and tires seen in the picture below. Got to love it's aggressive tread pattern:

Don't get your hopes up that all these wheels make it to production. A few or all of these could be nixed since most of the pictures are of pre-production vehicles.

Has any one come across bolt pattern, center hole diameter, or wheel offset?
Even though the wheels from the factory look good, it would be nice to know the bolt pattern, center hole diameter, and wheel offset so we could see what fter market wheels are out there that will look good and fit.

Jeep Zi You Xia Design Concept
This is the Jeep Renegade in concept-form as it is introduced in Beijing; Zi You Xia means "rebel." Its warm chocolate gray and contrasting dark anodized bronze exterior color finds its inspiration from the colors of the National Centre for the Performing Arts in Beijing. Dark charcoal accents and 20-inch dark anodized bronze alloy wheels also add style to this capable, small SUV. The piano black interior receives a touch of sophistication with gray A-pillars and headliner, anodized copper bezels and plastics, and rich brown leather seat and door panel upholstery with 'ombre' grey and black plaid fabric inserts. With 16 powertrain combinations, the Renegade is ready to hit global markets.

Yup, that's it. I wouldn't buy it, but I like what they did. I think they need to do this more with other markets, it would be cool to see that happen, consumers will really appreciate it.

Not to bust your bubble... but all literature that's leaked out so far shows a SMALLER size tire on the TrailHawk than what the Limited gets. Hopefully that's just a terrible typo...but there's a chance it's not. Also, those Falken AT tires are the worst AT tires on the market right now. Guys over at some of the more serious Jeeping forums loathe those tires because they don't wear well and they provide miserable traction when conditions get wet and sloppy. If I buy a TrailHawk, the tires and maybe wheels will be taken off immediately.

Well it depends on what you mean by bigger doesn't it?

The Limited tires are wider and the rims are an inch more in diameter, but I think the thicker sidewall and aggressive treads of the TH will make up for the reduced diameter of the rim won't they? Limited rims are 18" and TH are 17" right?

Speaking of tires, when are we going to get a good look at the TrailHawk with actual A/T tires??? Every picture I've seen has shown them with H/T tires...

What specific wheels and tires would you upgrade to?

Smaller wheel, approximately the same diameter. You do kind of want some sidewall to absorb uneven terrain if you ever go offroad.

I don't like that description of the falkens, it reads very similar to my experience with the OEM bridgestones on my subaru. Very poor handling in the wet that was somewhere between stressful/aggravating and dangeorus depending on how good you got at predicting when and how fast they would change personality in the wet.

Just gotta post this.

For salty winters, alloys are going to get killed in a few seasons. So I like the idea of steel wheels and get new wheel covers when needed.

Moreover, I like the max 28" diameter tires.

So on my Non-TH Renny, I'd move from the 215/65/16 (27" OEM) to the 235/65/16 (28" TH) size and if I push it, to 235/70/15 (28" but taller sidewall for extra cushion) because our roads are the worst.

So I wonder if 15' rims will fit over the brakes and...

if the spare is also a 235 tread if it'll stick up out of the spare well and cause lay-flat issue with the rear compartment floor.

Since when is 235/65/16 the wheel and tire size for the TH? 215/65/17 is what allpar has, and the german brochure has the same size. Limited gets 17 or 18" with the widest being 225/55/18. sport gets 16" and lattitude gets 16 or 17 as an option.

215/65/16
215/60/17
215/65/17
225/55/18

Those are all I have seen. Granted, I've wondered the exact same thing about a 235 tire on a 15 inch rim fitting on there. As for a full sized spare, I've had multiple cars where it came with 215 and I put a 235 on with a full spare without any storage issues. But those weren't truck tires. Worst case you just match the diameter and make a point of getting the tire replaced and the spare back in the trunk. I've done that as well rather than buy a 5th wheel and tire.
