I have a 2017 jeep renegade I guess about 2 . months had to take it to the dealership for them to look at it . The sway bar was fixing to come off . Got it fixed and there a sound on the driver side under car it's a there's a clinging noise it's sounds like a broken shock when you take off fast it don't do it . But when you let the gas off you start hearing it real bad .

Any clinking, clanking or alternatively "clinging" sound is advisable that you attend a garage asap and let the Professionals do the diagnosis just like you previously did with your Sway Bar.

There are many experienced guys on the forum and without personally inspecting your Jeep I am sure they will also agree and recommend that action. Guessing what a noise may be is not fixing the issue.

However by returning the Jeep to the Garage you put the onus squarely on top of their shoulders to properly diagnose the issue and who knows? It may well be something that they didn't tighten up correctly or a part that is worn and they didn't see it. There are many variables but I would allow the garage to try again.

Therefore please allow the guys on here to offer some thoughts as to what it could be and then as the old saying goes, "Fore armed is fore warned" and that gives you the confidence and knowledge to openly challenge or chat with the Dealership to obtain a resolution. (y)(y)(y)

W E L C O M E ! ! ! to the forum.

I would take it back and have them repair it correctly.
You paid for good work, you shouldn't have any "clinging noise".

Jeep does not stand behind their product. Burns oil. Brand new Jeep. 5 quarts of oil in 4000 miles. The dealership never wants to honor the warranty on a new Jeep renegade.

I don't buy 5 qt in 4000 miles but if your burning or leaking oil try a different dealer.
Good luck.

They say there is nothing wrong it is normal to use that much oil. It is an oil burner. I had problem with the locks. The dealership said well maybe animals chewed the wires. That was the not the case it was faulty piece of equipment on the new car. But at first they did not want to honor the warranty.

I have worked with a specialist Only thing that will help me is to get rid of this jeep and never make this mistake again. I had a Chevy and own it for 21 years. Chevy always stands behind their products. Do you think it is normal to have to put 5 quarts of oil every 4000 miles. I do not. There was not any oil in my Jeep and there was not a leak. It was checked for a leak. Chrysler wants me to believe this normal. No no not normal.
