On my way home today around 5:45 PM, I saw a car carrier full of Renegades heading North on 29 near Ellicott City MD. I was heading South so I didn't get a good look. Perhaps a call to local Jeep dealers is in order.

I guess I'm obsessive, because every day I (1) check the online inventory at a few local dealers (2) and also glance at my dealer's lot when I drive by. I guess I'll know the Renegade is here for real when it suddenly shows up in the Sunday Boston Globe car ads.

One nice thing for FCA - Renegades aren't coming in via West-coast ports, because they're having a work slowdown/stoppage out there, and things are backed up big time. Some US manufacturers of foreign cars are now dropping shifts because they can't get parts to their USA factories.

Soon. The first one arrived today at the local dealer here in Eastern PA. It is a black Sport with the automatic. They have three more coming including a Trailhawk.

Brown-Daub Easton. Hecktown Road.

It's a black Sport model, 2.4L auto. The only options appear to be the air conditioning package and upgraded aluminum wheels.

I really liked the car when I saw it in person. This model is everything I hoped it would be. I may end up ordering mine since I want a 1.4T manual. But I want to drive a 1.4T manual first to see if I like it.

I think FCA at least up to a few months ago was storing Renegades at the new Tradepoint Atlantic facility. I'm anxious to see if I can spot any 2018's in tfhe near future.
